Why this site exists
Almost everyone who uses BNB Smart Chain ends up on a block explorer sooner or later — to check a payment, research a token or debug a contract. Yet there was no single place that compared those explorers honestly, explained their quirks, or kept track of changes such as the retirement of the free BscScan API in December 2025. bnb-explorer.com fills that gap.
Who we are
We are a small editorial team of on-chain analysts and web developers who have worked with EVM networks since the early days of BNB Smart Chain. We write every review after testing the explorer ourselves on mainnet and testnet, using the same set of transactions, wallets and contracts so results are comparable. Our on-site explorer is built on public infrastructure only: BNB Chain’s official RPC endpoints, plus open data from Binplorer, CoinGecko and GoPlus.
Independence and funding
No explorer pays for a review or a position in our ranking, and we do not accept sponsored reviews. The site is funded through clearly marked partner links to a regulated cryptocurrency exchange. Those links never change a score. We are not affiliated with BNB Chain, Binance, Etherscan, NodeReal or any explorer we review.
Editorial standards
- Facts about networks and APIs are checked against primary sources such as the BNB Chain documentation and each provider’s own docs.
- Every page shows when it was last reviewed. We re-test explorers each quarter and after major network upgrades.
- We correct mistakes quickly and openly. If you spot one, email contact@bnb-explorer.com.
- Nothing on this site is financial advice. We explain tools; decisions about your money are yours.
